“Imaginary Land”, Donata’s debut solo album, is a retrospective realisation that something never existed exactly as it seemed. It is the hope of a new beginning as we leave behind all we can no longer accept.
The indie-folk album was created in a magical songwriting process against the backdrop of the stormy Dutch seashore. Donata co-produced "Imaginary Land" with Gunnar Örn Tynes (from the Icelandic band múm) and collaborated with Jasja J. Offermans on bass, Viktor Orri Árnason on string arrangements, and Wouter Rentema and Magnús Trygvason Eliassen on drums and percussion. Mastering was done by Zino Mikorey.
